2 days in a dream paradise at MakuziBay lodge at Malawi lake along which spread breathtaking sunrises.

Malawi is the kind of country nobody has any idea where it may well be (but some know it is there that Madonna has adopted children). This is a very young African « democracy » rural at 85% where half the population lives on with less than a dollar a day, the main cause of mortality is due to AIDS and UNICEF made big campaigns (end 2007) against the trafficking of children (« Stop child abuse« ).

That evening, a local pure stump Rastafarian, with a very great voice, strums his guitar and sets, in a beautifully starry night, the entire Bob Marley’s stock of plays … except, surprisingly, Get Up, Stand Up.

After solicitation and having whistled and hummed chorus, it is clear that this is the only song he does not know, he has never even heard (!?). No matter, the best-of* embedded in an mp3 player will likely exceed the censorship and teach it to him forthwith … except that, for the both side disappointment, this song does not appear in this compilation’s playlist !

Moral: Make mixtapes correctly before going and learn by heart universalist standards if you want music be a full medium of exchange.

and the Burnin’ album, where was published this anthology piece was released in 1973!
