Stick its head in the sand (doing ostrich)

Obviously that tomorrow will be another day, but from two months of a departure prepared for a (too much?) long time, appears from nowhere a kind of monumental lazy crossbred with a casual careless. More the term gets closer more the incredulity settles down insidiously. Two months it is long, it is short, it is relative, it is still conducive to endless postponements (and nothing indicates that procrastination, even if it is an art, is actually creative).

When the simple purchase of a luggage becomes an event of heroic self-satisfaction, while the steps of passport – because it will be made obsolete before the end of the journey – of vaccines, banks and insurances, have hardly been switched on, it would be maybe necessary time to get excited (a little).

This last time of preparation of a long journey is akin to quantum physics: it is to feel trapped in a box like the Schrödinger’s cat, alive and dead at a time, and likewise, and, as a free electron,to play with the uncertainty principle (position and velocity zero)

With this rhythm there nothing will be really adorned for casting off and it will be necessary to tear yourself away urgently having fired at the rubber band of space-time to make it break… a kind of slingshot because ostriches not fly.
